I was in a mountain village yesterday night and the weather was cloudy but not enough to prevent us from using a friend's telescope, a quite big thing with motors and a remote. We could see Jupiter with 2 bands and its four moons, and also Saturn with its rings. They were small and not very colorful, but enjoying astronomy yourself is quite something else than seeing pictures on the Internet.
(Jupiter has more than four moons but the four biggest ones are far bigger than the others)
